AMEN

Amen is Romantic Musical melodrama conceived by Lijo Jose Pellisserry, which revolves around a church and it's people. The story is about Solomon (Fahadh Fazil), and Shoshamma (Swathi) and their genuine love story. Solomon belongs to a middle class family in a remote village and Soshama is daughter of a rich & greedy man Philipose (Nandhu). When village supports their love their families not, as time passes their comes Father Vattoli (Indrajith) to take charge of assistant priest there. Every village has it's own uniqueness, same here with Kumarankari, to find the uniqueness you must watch the movie (Never Before in Malayalam Cinema).

Story: Oru muzhu kudiyan aya oru police officer (I do understand his situation..athe situationil vannal chilar suicide cheyum..chilar external karyangalil depend akum..like this police officer's dependence on Alcohol).

Arikil Oraal - My Review

Ithu oru suspense (plus psychological) thriller ayathu kond..review oru spoiler ayirikum..athukond if you haven't watched the movie, please don't read the review It will ruin your experience.

Chapters njan kurachu naal munpu kandayirunnu..aa cinema enikku istapettu..athu kond nalla expectation vechu annu ee movie kandathu...and this movie did exceed my expectations.

Story: 3 kootukar...avarku idayil ondakunna chila dooruham aya karyangal annu ee cinemayile story. Basically, the story deals with the idea of doppelgangers (Nammude naatil ee idea atraku angot explore cheyethitilla..I can only think of one other movie which has explored this theme - Padmarajan sirinte Aparan).

Positives

Intro - Straight to the point..inganathe intro njan kanditilla...adyam oru relevanceum illatha scenes kanikunnu...sadharana cinemayil verar olla pole character intros illa..direct ayitu kadhayileku dive cheyukaya...athu manoharam ayittu Sunil sir cheyethu.
BGM - Oro scenenum inangunna BGM...
Music - Music kollam
Performance - Performance wise, I liked Nivin's the best. Indrajithum Remyayum kalakki. Bakki ullavarum kuzhapam illarunnu

Reviews oke njan vayichatha..about climax being predictable and all..yes, climax predictable thanne ayirunnu, but I don't consider that as the climax. I consider the very final scene as the climax (Indrajithinte kathapathram busil kerunna scene) ithine patti kooduthal vishakalanathil

Climax scene - Nerathe paranja pole ee cinemaku 2 climax ond..randamathu varunna climax annu real climax ayitu njan consider cheyunnath.

Let me explain:

Remember the scene in which Nivin seemingly bend the spoon with his hand? How did he do that?

What if the doppelganger Icha (Nivin) was only visible to Indrajith's character? (Avasana sceneil Ichayude chiri sradhichu noku..oru "evil" type smile alle ).

Athu pole thanne supernatural element ee cinemayil alland thanne visible annu (Ichayude achanu durmaranam sambhavichathu...pinne aa bus driver).

And, did you guys notice the paintings? Almost all of them dealt with different faces (like doppelgangers?)

Aparan enna cinemayilum ithu pole oru uncertainity allayiruno..climax..ppl weren't sure whether it was the "good" Jayaram or the evil Jayaram who survived

Athu pole Hollywoodile pala cinemakalum: Inception for instance, we are not sure whether Dicaprio's character is still in dream state or not.
